I completed my study and internship in the spiritual direction practicum at Mercy by the Sea in Madison, CT. The ongoing experience of receiving my own spiritual direction introduced and continues to reveal to me the wonder that personal spiritual exploration, conversation, and journeying hold. This wonder inspires my desire and excitement to invite others to begin, continue, or resume their own journeys.

I treasure having the honor of accompanying, listening, and thoughtfully questioning so that others may make their own discoveries, enjoy an unfolding relationship with their personal sense of who God is, and deepen relationships with self, others, and the world. Time spent accompanying another is not about the spiritual director's journey or beliefs. Spiritual direction is an invitation that holds opportunity and space to consider, question, explore, uncover, and savor what you feel and believe.

My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with certification in teaching, as well as a master’s degree in business. My experiences in teaching, business, and consulting taught me lessons about life and faith that I felt drawn to apply to engagement within the nonprofit world, where I have found meaning and opportunities for impact and growth.

I feel a strong sense that the journey of receiving my own spiritual direction is leading to clarity in hearing and finding a voice for meaningful expression in writing, speaking and communications work. I treasure an ongoing practice of meditative writing, which has led to developing a program for sharing the possibilities and gifts of this practice with others.
